Malcom is tall, standing at nearly 6'1". His frame is decently muscular but alot of bone. His jet black hair is normally cut at a medium length and is frequently messed up, spouting every which direction. Most of the time, he has a small goatee but he will shave it on occasion. His eyes are dark, dark: almost black but still a blue. He has a penetrating gaze that could make the strongest man tremor. His skin is smooth and coppery.
He takes good care of his body, as far as appearance goes. Health wise, maybe not so much. Malcom does his best to keep up a handsome figure. His wardrobe consists of jeans, a few sweatpants, sleeveless-undershirts, and a few t-shirts from various places. If at all possible, he goes around shirtless. Around his neck, there is always a gold chain with an emerald dragon.
There are two major sides to Malcom: 1. shallow, self-centered jock & 2. school failure.
Let's start with #1, the shallow, self-centered jock. Malcom is on the Quidditch team. He has been for all 6 previous years of his schooling at Hogwarts. He has always been the steriotypical jock; arrogant, cocky, muscular, flawless hair, and gets all the girls. Well, all except getting all the girls. He may try but he only gets his girl 1/10... which isn't all that bad, actually. Anyway, his jock-ness was decently managable until this year. He was promoted to captain after one of his friends graduated. As of this school year, he has gone above the normal level of arrogant and cocky. He's still got about the same body yet he goes on about it more now. He loves to have the attention on him and cannot stand it when it is not. He chases the girls, desperatly trying to convince them that they only deserve the best, and that he, being the nice guy he is, is willing to be the best for them. He cares only for looks, ignoring the intelligence aspect of women. Malcom is a bit... old-fasioned when it comes to his views of women: they are good in bed and for doing his biding. I should have said very old-fasioned.
On to aspect #2 of the wonderful Malcom Gray: the school failure. This is not the dominant side of him, yet you can't have #2 without #1. It goes without saying that if you don't pay attention in school and don't do your work, you fail. Well, he is failing. Yet, at the end of the year he always manages to con some poor kid into helping him pass. During most of the year, he is uncaring about his school work and the professors are constantly getting onto him. He focuses all of his small attention span on Quidditch, girls, and popularity. If he is not drinking or with a woman or playing Quidditch, he normally isn't having much fun.
[H I S T O R Y] Malcom was a normal child. Born to two normal parents. Except that they weren't normal. And they neglected to tell him this until Sam and Ben accidentally told him when he was 8 and they were 11, going to Hogwarts. His sister had opted to go to Hogwarts as well and she had only 2 years left. He grew very eager to get to Hogwarts so he could show off to his family, Ben and Sam in particular. His father began teaching him little tricks whenever Malcom would get set his mind to pestering him about it. Although he never had a wand, he would try and try the tricks, failing most of the time and encouraging his brothers' pestering all over.
When he was finally 11 and got to go pick out his things in Diagon Alley, he met a few children who would attend Hogwarts with him. Talking with them, he discovered it was "uncool" to have your mom following you around and picking out your things. He shunned her the remainder of the day.
At Hogwarts, he was sorted into Slytherin and grew into the house. He was always trying to fit in and get recognized. When he quickly realized he couldn't do it with acedemics, he strove for sports, making the Quidditch team his first year. He became more and more popular, shunning his old "un-popular" friends for "cooler, more popular" kids... The older boys. They taught him all kinds of things, mostly things a young oy shouldn't know but others were helpful, like how to hit the bludger so it knocks someone clear off their broom.
Going into his 7th year, Malcom is Quidditch captain for Slytherin and an acedemic failure. He has many friends but hardly any are real friends. He is popular and attractive but he has many faults that people see daily.
